A male individual of Congolese nationality, ST AUREL TIIIL, is suspected of harassing a Taiwanese woman and her father and brother multiple times from March 4, 2023, to March 8, 2023. He allegedly sought to establish a relationship with the woman through means such as phone calls and waiting near her residence. This conduct violates Article 18, Paragraph 1 of the Stalking and Harassment Prevention Act and he has been indicted by the prosecutor's office on April 14, 2023. The suspect was detained in custody by the Miaoli District Court in Taiwan during the investigation, and was released awaiting trial since April 25, 2023.
